I finally did replace the accelerator sensor with a new one, but the same symptoms popped up--lift drives fine for about 10 minutes, and then cuts power to the wheels accompanied by error code -07.

I'm no forklift technician, just an employee with some mechanical ability trying to troubleshoot, but I'm guessing the next step is to follow the wiring path to see if any shorts are obvious?

Another issue has also come to my attention: when the lift is turned off, error codes 5489 and 0836 pop up just before it powers off completely.

Any help is much appreciated.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
