I've seen more of these JCB Teletruk machines over the past year or so than ever before. Mostly based around timber yards, builder supply merchants and even scrap yards, they seem to be quite an indespensable bit of kit really.

Has anyone here ever run them and has opinions and/or thoughts about the machines? Obviously no design is perfect really.

Is having the cab off to the side of the telescopic boom a benefit or limitation for these kinds of machines? Companies such as Matbro built both designs albeit on larger telescopic units.

Best regards

Gavin

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
