I do believe you are misinformed. I refer you to Nissan publication SMOE=FOS2GO of Aug. 93. TB45 is a fuel injected LPG engine and TD42 is a diesel fuel injected along with P engine model. May I also refer you to Nissan Corp NA service bulletin SB97-015 issued June 1997. The parts manual does show the NIKKI regulator used in other markets, but not approved for North American consumption.
