A line at top and bottom, is sensor out of adjustment. It's a litle tricky to adjust this sensor board. If I'm correct you have 4 wires. Supply (+ and-) for sensor. Sensor output and finally checkwire for broken wires. Plus and minus is 5 V and sensor output has to be exactly half supply. You can adjust the sensor PCB up and down, but be sure there is an airgap by attachment ring at top.
