This is the old system with banks of transistors?

Even 30 years ago not many people were attempting repairs on them. I used to, but finally realized that everyone else was right: When you've got one with bad banks, it's cheapest in the long run to convert them to SCR. If you rebuild them, chances are you'll be doing it again next year.
