Hi Mrforklift,
Press hour meter and performance selector at the same time, Then press left arrow, Then press right arrow, Then press left and right arrow at same time for 2 seconds, Then continue pressing the preformance selection button till the screen shows maintenance hour set then adjust using the arrows. I strongly suggest that you not change any other setting screens that come up. Hope this helps.
