Working on a Raymond 60C Pacer. First question: There are 2 contactors for forward, two for reverse, a 1A contactor and then there is another contactor that comes in after a directional contactor closes and before the 1 A closes. What is the function of that contactor???
#2. The truck will work fine all day but first thing in the morning (and every morning) the directional contactors will not close. The only one that does is that second contactor described above. We let the truck sit for about 20 minutes without touching anything and then the directional contactors will pick up and the truck will work fine the rest of the day. We have checked the brake switch and associated wiring and they check out good.
Any help is appreciated.
