it the "spirit" of the "6 degrees of separation" game, I doubt* you could find a job that actually touches more lives than a forklift tech. truck drivers often point out that "if it got there, it got there by a truck". I can say if it got put on any truck, it got there by some machine I (or someone I know) fixed.
*= not only do I doubt you can find such a job (one that actually touches more lives) but I welcome discussion on which such job does touch MORE lives. Not so much more lives -directly- touched, but more lives over all, indirectly.
the only such job I can think of would have to be an instructor in a medical or nursing school.
