So I got an burned forklift, despide everybody else saiying this is a bad buy, I got it sub 1k euros, the batteries are on shape, all are above 1.996V despide havent charge for weeks, the point that cought fire was MP1514H, as this machine has been sitting outside for almost two decades (MY1999), I suspect it was the CAN 12VDC got short, well, that is just my guess, now I have a totaly destroyed MP1514H and wire harness to check up, I will check all wire connections to ensure that no short at motor, module and anywhere between.

I am trying to have a MP1514 on hand, and install JUDIT, to begin to test other two modules to make sure they survived the fire. I come from CNC machine repair sector, this is no more complicate than SIMODRIVE.

My plan is the desorder the destroyed MP1514H flash and read the firmware out (if possible, it seens survived from the fire) then find a similar MY card and burn back the firmware, can anybody please tell me how "smart" are the firmware to deal with different hardware revision of MP1514? or I have to find the exact hardware revision to accomplish this? what to watch out? thanks!
