thanks so much, didnt even think about that. 4- 6v batteries, all in series.

I measured each pack while still in the cart. 3 measure 6.5 and 1 measures 5.3

I had a semi dead car battery laying around, so i jumpered it across the 2 on the bank. The lift went up for a sec.

Will be buying another battery now to replace the bad one. Hopefully it works for awhile.
