I can't even find the dipstick, I had a quick look around the engine/gearbox department yesterday but couldn't see one, but to be fair i was really concentrating on the inching system as the pedal doesnt seem to be working (if i press it there's no effect until i get to the point where the brakes operate, when i say no effect, what i mean is the machine drives just the same).

I read elsewhere that the dipstick can be on the left hand side near the upright, i'll have a real close look this morning.
