You can check by disconnecting the wire from the oilsensor, its located near the oilfilter.
If it flickers when not connected the wires will be damaged.
Gould be the sensor as well.
The wiring gives trouble to, between the engine and body, they just brake in time.
Are you sure its not the airflowsensor?
