Hyster E50XM-33:
Replaced a worn out contact point, now the lift won't work?

Hi Friends,

I had a very worn out contact point on my 2010 Hyster E50XM-33. I got some replacement parts online, and changed them out. When I turn on the lift everything starts up like normal, and drives in forward and reverse, but the lift won't engage (it wasn't doing that before I changed the parts). I can see the contact points engaging and disengaging correctly. Any advice would be great!

Thanks,

Chad

Chad,

If you installed new contactor tips, make sure all cables were installed correctly. Cable in the wrong position will not power what it is intended for. Also, make sure everything is back together as it came apart. Some parts on contactors can be installed upside down. Good Luck

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
