Discussion:
Over reving in Netural

We have almost the opposite problem to Kombi.

Fork works fine in Forward or Reverse, but put it in Netural and the engine builds up revs like your slowly flooring the accelerator. Go to Forward or Reverse and it's fine untill you go back to N and revs build up again.

Had a mechanic out to look at it, and he looked at fuel supply (but the problems still there), I was wondering if it could be a slipping clutch or similar component.

Any help appreciated as my knowledge doesn't go past V-Twins

Cable throttle, and the accelerator pedal and cable through to the Carburetor is working fine. Someone said they found it to be reving by itself in all selections and were not touching the accelerator at all but always using the brake. I'm now thinking a sticking idel needle in the Carb if it has one.

Getting a mechanic out when ones available, will let you know of any outcome.

Is this the CG25E-5 (Pro5) model with electronic throttle control or the CG25E-2 model with cable operated throttle?
