One of my customers / Friends picked up a S155FT sn: F024V02272M
There telling me the ECM is not sending voltage to the injectors or whatever it is that shoots fuel to the cylinders. I looked at the ECM that has 2 connectors with 80 pins on each connector.
that's a lot of pins and wires that go to something else that could have a fault, or a broken wire causing the problem. I work on a lot of electric trucks most of the time it's not the controller it's something else.
they did not say if it had any codes.
I'm thinking it has a busted wire or bad relay.
The ECM is pricy. I haven't found anyone that can test this thing or anyone that sells reman?
Briggs gave me a price on new one.
Briggs got back and said the do test them need to call service dept. will start there.
any other tips would help

yellow and green wires reading 62.5 ohms with battery disconnected. The fuel relay for feed pump is not turning on, relay and fuse are good. I would like to test wiring going to the ECM plugs, but the numbers on plugs 1 and 61 does not make since to me, went through volume 1 and volume 2 of book, it shows most of the smaller plugs and one large round plug with letters, but not the plugs for ECM. Anyone out their work on these?

I'm thinking it's missing some grounds, there is a small black wire the bolts to middle of engine block on left side, EcM side that wire is cut and no clue where it goes, should there be a ground wire going to ECM housing?

The can bus communication is faulty, check cables or pins. Check the yellow and green cable that is twisted and goes through the whole machine, the resistance should measure 60.ohm
The guys put the ECM back in truck it has code 2000-12
maybe the ECM is ok
Was hoping to find someone who tests these before chasing the problem, to many people have been working on this thing.
the engine has been out 2 times for repairs.
