Discussion:
Need to turn drive wheel

Hello,

I just bought a non running Crown SP3020-30. I want to pull it on a trailer. But when it was parked the steering/drive wheel is turned 90 degrees to the side. So, if I pull it, I will ruin the wheel. I notice two terminals on the top of the steering motor. Can I supply 24v DC to them to get the motor to turn the wheel? Is one terminal negative and the other positive? Or is negative the motor housing and one terminal is for clockwise and the other terminal counter clockwise??
Thanks,
John
