Discussion:
Mitsubishi FG25K

can anyone tell me what the difference is between FG25K with serial numbers starting AF17B- and EF17B-. I have ordered many parts for the EF17B from a book for AF17B, and only one part for the dash was different.

The A prefix means the unit was built at the MCFA plant in Houston, Texas and is designed to comply with Underwriters Laboratories saftey standards. Often the electrical compnets and wiring maybe different than similar units built elsewhere.

The E prefix means the unit was produced at the MCFE facility in Almere, Netherlands and is built to comply with simialr European standards. This may explain why there was only one part difference.

The absence of a letter before the F17B would mean the unit was built in the Mitsbubishi facilty in Sagimhara, Japan.

Hope this helps.

Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
