I have installed pathfinder and truck doctor which both do not work when connected with canbox - doctor works when connected to 335 etc ( no can box required ) and pathfinder works with engine cable connected - again no can box required. It seems that it is not seeing the canbox connection - any help would be much appreciated

We can fix this issue by remotely by Teamviewer

Yes, but am on a days hols today - so no laptop - do I need to connect to truck before going on teamviewer to yourself

I am using a serial canbox, will check the configand adjust as necessary. I have been told that canbox might need to be flashed - have no idea what this is or how to do it.

what can box are you using?
serial or usb?
you need to configure it for using the correct canbox
computer/localdrive/linde mh/pathfinder/doiamon31/data/cps/configuration
dtr and rts need to be set to 0 for usb and 1 for serial
