Just seen the spec sheet for the new Linde 10 ton fork lift. Woo what a shocker. It Weight is 18,297KG its width is 2545mm and its length is 5961mm it runs a Cummins EGR engine. Feel sorry for Linde hope there attempt with the new 6,000kg-8,000kg is going to be better or they might as well just keep to small trucks

looks to me that your are paranoid over this.
Hi Dave again - like i said you need to get up pretty early to catch me out.
i agree hope you don't fall out with other clients if you are willing to put the info on line.
That doesn't sound good linmech.
If anybody wishes to see the original design work with regards to Dave's proposed 'modular designed forklift' please drop me a line. I produced the original design work at the end of 2009 Dave hasn't yet paid my invoice for this- therefore the original designwork is owned by my company.
Dave, where will the Mechanical design / Hydraulic design work be done and how do you intend recruiting Engineers. Having worked for Caterpillar and Komatsu previously I'm familiar with the amount of work and investment required.
Bucknut,

Yep i do seem to know what i'm on about the truck will be built before end of this year so you won't have to wait long to see one
The truck will speak for it's self and i'm sure you are going to get another 4 years of the same guy.
You also do't know my history or what i have done in the past or what my record is.
Also the facts about other trucks speak for them self's any manufacturer who uses EGR system are years be hind the competition who use
SCR but as a expert you will know this and i'm sure if you try to do a large project like this you will come across the same type of problems we have
Davelift,
You talk a pretty strong game for someone that has only produced some cartoons. It all looks impressive on the computer but when you do actually build something it may be a different story. You remind me of our President, he is always critial of his competition but has no record to stand on. I say build a lift and then we will see how it stacks up against the compettion!
I am interested in your product. hope it is price competitive and good quality.
Good luck with the project Davelift. Where will you be manufacturing now? It was meant to be Abu Dhabi originally, right?
If you are thinking of manufacturing in KSA....don't! Otherwise you will rule yourself out of Saudi completely and the rest of the Middle East.
I would be wary of using a hydrostatic transmission because in terms of development it takes a lot of hard work and even then it may not be up to the standard of Linde's, and if it isn't then what's the point. We went through many variations of transmission and software and in the end cancelled the project.
Apologies - can't lay my hands on your email address. Click 'linmech' to the left and you will see mine.
Hi Mark
Thanks can you drop me a e mail please
Hi Dave
Glad to hear things are moving on. Not heard from you for a long time, since we worked on the iLift design. Good to see my design in the 3D animation on Youtube.....
