Discussion:
Linde H18T(350-03) could not start the engine

No any error in window 2 (truck doctor) but no voltage to 1Y5(shutoff solenoid), 1Y4 (enable valve) and 1Y1 (butterfly RPM valve; disconnect 1Y5 and supply 12VDC directly, engine can start but without RPM control: window 6: nB1:0 even engie running ; have replaced new RPM sensor and LHC module but problem are the same.

Any one have experience with this problem before, please give me a help.
Thanks,

Dear Herald,

I tried to replaced two modules but no effect, I want to add that the LHC warning light always ON, no any powered supply to shutoff valve, RPM valve and enable valve. In window 3, error code is 28 but not 23.

Thanks,

Hi Dang
Sorry to have not got back to you sooner, error code 23 is a coding fault the module does not recognise what the truck is. Have you tried another module? In window one are you getting the correct truck details?
Error code 23 will give you the symptoms you have. If module is ok you may have a loom fault, check the plug into the module first then work back following the wiring diagram.
Regards

Hi dang
The module must be seeing a fault and is then not giving an enable signal to the lock off valve, the butterfly magnet and drive release valve, have you checked the fuses that supply the module they are under the dashboard one is 1amp the other 15amp, wiring the valves direct will prove they work but not solve your original problem. Did you teach the new module with a laptop, what faults do you have in window 3 ?

Hello ddrr,
thanks for advise about shutoff solenoid and how about RPM butterfly valve ? how to power it ?

There are minus 12VDC at two pins both shutoff and butterfly valves but no ground.

best regards,

shutoff solenoid uses alternator voltage, only power when cranking or running. i
If this has throttle magnet box, it goes full stroke when keyswitch on then comes back when running,
put 12v power/ ground to magnet it should go full stroke
