Leaking diesel injection pumps

We are suffering a rash of leaking injection pumps. 7 of 21 machines have started leaking from the front shaft seal. All Perkins engines with Bosch pumps with from 3,500 to 5,000 engine hours.

We're only seeing this in our Florida branch.

Any ideas?

common fault. check also your return to tank pipework though any restrictions can cause leakage

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
