Hey Nick, Thanks so much for the info.... this is a huge help. My forklift seemed to be working fine, making strange throw out bearing noises... but clutch was working and engaging.... then,,,, all of a sudden, I press in the clutch and no disengagement.... cant put it in gear.... Im assuming that throw our bearing took a dump... or pressure plate failure, broken springs, and or fingers....???? Ill pull the clutch pak out and rebuild the pressure plate and clutch,,, find another throw out bearing and I should be good. thanks again,, J
If you take the top cover off you will see a circlip around the outer shaft , with a screw between the eyes to stop it rotating. Remove the circlip and screw, then with a screw driver slide the inner shaft through to clear the plate.Splines can be a bit tight.
how do you move the shaft?
Thanks Mark. just hope I can get the parts now!!!
Hey Nick, I must be getting old thank you for reminding me;)
You can move the primary shaft, and you don't have to remove the motor or transmission for changing the clutch.
Kind regards
