Discussion:
Jungheinrich EFG/DF (DC) dashboard light flashes on and off

Good day all, We're having a strange fault on a Komatsu FB20-2E (it's the same as an Jungheinrich EFG/DF). When switching on the contact switch the lights on the dashboard flashes on and off, the main contactor doesn't switches on (no errors because the display doesn't light up). We changed several parts but with no improvements (dasboard-interface card-3x controller MP1514) also controlled the wiring but could find anything. Is there someone that has some experance with this model.
Many thanks in advance
Marcb

Hello All,
Thanks for your replies, I found the problem.
We have to install a resistor between the CAN wiring of the dasboard. To have a resistance between 70-125Ohm and not 30-70Ohm like it is original (between CAN low and CAN high)
Kind regards

I would check the battery connection with the digital meter plugged in turn the key switch on and see if the battery voltage drops drastically.

Also check your key switch is ok. I think it might be a dead man or battery problem from what you have described.

Hello
I repair a similar machine now. I send it that yes. Count it the red led the flashing of diodes on MP1514. In my machine the left side the hydraulics, the middle module the left engine, the right side the better engine.
Best regards, Laci

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
