Discussion:
Hyundai

I have a customer who just bought a new Hyundai. I'd like to know the engine & lp fuel system it has as it doesn't look familiar. The model is 25L-7A. Serial is HHKHHF08LH0004242. TX

Showing items 1 - 6 of 6 results.
We have a lot of experience with same machine and ECU.
Machines are and ECU are ok, we had not problem.
We had some problems just tipical wearing parts , or when our cousumers little bit forgot the maintanence....

I'm a beginner.
Sorry for the delay in responding. We haven't had any issues with the ECU. We have a customer running about 6 of these units with the normal glitches, a starter, a hydraulic pump, a couple of the electric shutoffs. Not sure if the one you are working with has one or not, these here have the cutoff switch to disconnect the battery power, and we have had three of those fail. The customer ran these lifts last summer in south Alabama, air temps 95 and above almost every day with no ECU issues.

Thanks so much. I'll have to go back to school to learn this beast. Anything i should know about these trucks? How does the ECU hold up being mounted on top of the engine? It's hot as **** under the hood on a warm day, I'm assuming heat will destroy it?

It should be an HMC engine, L4KB
Engine. I'll have to look at the shop tomorrow to get the fuel system. FYI, 25L is truck series designation, 7A is engine designation
