Hard Lower

Having a issue with a unit a very hard lower. Fast drops, comes to sudden hard stop when you release lower switch. Any ideas?

Start with the accumulator,it may need recharged.that causes hard stops

A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
