Bt Industries RRE200HCC:
Forks tilt up all by themselves

Unit came in yesterday, complaint is "forks tilt up, all on their own".
Calibrated lever 3 "tilt" but had issues. Pushing lever full forward (max)and hitting green button - value is stored. Mid position, as in lever centered , not touching it, when you hit the green button the console beeps and the value does not change?? Pulling the lever full back, (min) value gets stored. It maybe the lever it screwed?? The "mid" position shows 111 but when you hit the green button the value stored won't change and you get an angry "beep" at least it sounds angry.

Pull the mini lever surround trim off the CID - its only clipped in, start from the front nearest the display.

Each mini lever is held in with Torx 10 self tapping screw, remove all 4 screws then lift the mini lever out.

There is 2 x small cross head screw the hold the grey plastic lever part on to the mini lever - these come loose.

Look carefully at the base of the mini lever where the wiring loom plug is connected, you will see a small cross head screw, these also come loose & effect the mini lever calibration as it allows the potentiometer to move, tighten this screw & refit the mini lever.

Try recalibrating it now.

Lever part # 224558 - this unit has 4 mini levers - not the big ugly Joystick(multi)
I'm not sure which screws you are referring to?
No auto tilt leveling and no side shift centering.
The problem I'm having is the CID won't accept the center position value of the lever. Say the actual value is 135 and the stored value is 111 when I press enter/green button the value won't change-it just beeps at me??

The small cross head screws that hold the connector part on to the lever come loose, they have been doing that for the last 10 years.

Very very rare I replace a joystick on a RRE.

At least there very easy to remove / get at.

Does the truck have auto tilt levelling or auto sideshift centering fitted?

Latest software version - 009 installed?
