Discussion:
Error code Jungheinrich

Hi our reach truch gets error code 7 and comes to a stop.
Does anyone know what generates this error so we can fix the problem?
Maybe someone has a list of codes or a shop manual?

The truck is a Jungheinrich ETV114 model.

Thanks for the help everyone - yep its probably a dead cell.
It drives until the lift motor is engaged, then the error comes up and drive stops.

Cheers

Error 7 is for the key switch being turned off while in opperation but it is almost always a battery voltage problem. Try driving the unit while tilting back (ie have the battery under load) and see if the fault appears. Also check the battery voltage at the same time. You will probably find the the voltage is dipping under 35V. If it does load test each cell and see if there is a bad one or see if the whole battery is stuffed.

Cheers.

HI Blaster.
Code 7 could be the keyswitch or low voltage. I've also seen this error by defective interface card (voltage measurement) on controller. Do you have serial number / year?

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
