Thanks for the info edward t. That does make perfect sense. I will go through all mine and check they are set for 48v. Thanks again.
big t, I see this most often on 48 volt batteries, when the battery is really discharged, and the truck's [GE} controls are set to a dual voltage default. setting the battery configuration setting to the actual configuration of the truck often cures this (it thinks it is a too hot 36 vdc battery, rather than a too dead 48vdc battery).
what is the nominal battery voltage of the truck's configuration.
I deal with very old 55fctt's and 90% of the time when this code comes up the truck wont do nothing at all. We have to tow it to the changing station and replace the battery. We have noticed this happens alot when a cell starts or takes a junk on us. Crownie is also correct in his post also. The lifts I work on are approximently 18 to 20 years old lol.
I assume you've got it running now but for anyone else. fault 16 is battery volts too high , usually caused by opportunity charging. use the raise a few times, then unplug battery and start again
(code often gets confused with fault 15 volts too low)
