Yale M30R4T071:
Deadmans pedal & master cylinder

I have a very old stand up forklift Model #M30R4T071 I believe it is from the 1970's, My master cylinder is leaking oil and when I step on the deadmans pedal it no longer activates the forklift. I checked the master cylnder and it is empty. Does anybody know what kind of oil is used in the master cylinder?

Not oil, use brake fluid, DOT 3 or 4.
