Any suggestions, we have replaced the dash display twice in the last year, its seems to be going out again, lights sometimes, then most time the background illumination is out and can only slightlty see the fonts, upon start up, works fine then in a few, goes out, checked 5 and 12 volt readings all good, has anyone experienced this, also wire diagram does not show whether key pad or controller supplies voltage?

the display has a contrast potentiometer to adjust the display, you can turned clockwise with small screw driver if that doesn't work you must replaced the display, no other way!
having similar issues with our UFS250. Check the ribbon cable connection where it plugs in to the TCU (big blackbox. there is only one 14 conductor ribbon on ours) we have had problems with the connector not being seated tightly on the ribbon itself, leading to loose connections. I have reseated ours, and it worked, but the connection was never intended to be a dynamic cable (i.e. moves when the dash board is flipped up. it works loose after a few times opening and closing the dash). Our display has finally crapped out. I have a new chunk of ribbon coming and new connectors where it connects to LCD card, and d-sub15 connector at TCU. I will post if this solves anything - hopefully it will help your task if you are still chasing it down. I will also inspect the TCU side of the d-sub15 connector to see if a pin has lost tension and is not getting a good contact. If you have solved yours, what did you end up doing? [short of replacing a $1700 display assembly, or a $5500 TCU.] These trucks are great when they work, but sweet mother-of-pearl, the parts give me indigestion.
here my email look me up [email address removed] I can help with that problem,
I believe it is a 2010, it works on initial start up then begins to flicker and go dark after 5 minutes, replace the display unit and works well for a week and starts going blank again
