it can be a clutch leacking
Hello Bertrand,
I have not yet seen intermittent errors from the pressure feedback sensor, but if you do replace the sensor be carefull with the wiring as it is easy to trap between the cover and valve block...
I have seen broken springs behind the direction and range spools in this transmission, take the covers off and remove the vfs solenoids and pull out the spools to check, these can give you intermittent errors. Also I had one that had a pressure feedback error and traced it to one of the speed sensors, it had damaged wiring at the sensor.
Carry out calibration after repairs to check all is OK.
Hope this helps,
Steve.
Hello Ian,
Thank you for your information but the problem isn't always here. If the membrane is destroy, I think that the failure must be always here. Do you know an intermittent problem due to failed membrane.
Regards Bertrand
Hello Bertrand
the error code you have listed relates to the pressure feed back sensor, this is located in the valve body on the side of the transmission. the new sensor will come complete with the harness that connects the VFS solenoids and the pressure sensor to the APC 200. the problem is normally the membrane inside the pressure sensor has failed, the parts will be availble form either your local SMV or Dana Dealer.
the normal operating temperature of then transmission is 70 - 120 degreess C, the maximum temperature allowed is 120 degrees C
Regards
Ian
