yes its a 2l tdi i know that for those model with the fuel pump on the timing you need linde service guide to time it but with a tandem pump (vaccum/fuel) its on the other end of the camshaft no timing required you think i still need to time the engine with the software ?

If you don't have the timing tool that fits on the crank gear and lock for the cam you are not in time you can purchase from Linde dealer
The tool is a small half moon with teeth and it has the timing mark on it
If I remember correctly the crank gear has no timing mark that's why you need the timing tools and you will need a manual to set it correctly

I'm guessing it's a vw 2.0 tdi engine?? Unfortunately you'll need a linde tech to connect to the machine with his laptop to set the timing correctly otherwise your not going to get it running

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
