Discussion:
Code 87L left traction diode failure

We have replaced the diode block, check for shorts from motor and controller, none found but can not load test diodes to see if failing under load, question; since this is a hard code ,does it have to be cleared before operation? I've tried the password hlp,and came back invalid, how do I access the main controller to reset?

HLP should work but it's been a while since I've used it. I think you use the last 3 spaces if I remember correctly. Basically you input like this _ _ _ _ _ H L P If that doesn't work the Master password is BOGUS but that is definitely put in backwards using the last 5 spaces like this _ _ _ B O G U S As for the left Traction diode error we had the same error come & go for years before we finally found out the motor itself was dying so you might want to look at having it rebuilt & heads up, it is a PITA to pull that motor. One tip is to make sure the Mast is tilted as far forward as possible. I can get you part #'s for pretty much anything if you need them. My e-mail is swidgett1 @gmail.com I have to type the e-mail address like that or the website deletes it...obviously there is no space in it
