Discussion:
Code 3 among other things

Hello, new to the group. I recently started refurbishing WAV50. My first was a 118 and now I am working on a 84.

Does anyone have a curtis handheld for sale?

To begin with, while platform is in down position, it has some play, wobble, that seems odd to me since my 118 didnt wobble.

My first issue was that my platform would only go up about a foot and stop. I would hear the motor start and the cylinder would raise me about a foot and stop. When i go down, i can hear either air or fluid going back. However, i did not really see a change in fluid level. I would not get a code on BDI.

History on unit is that motor cover switch was bad and would allow you to raise fully but not come down unless manual valve was used.

I checked switches on gate and thought i found a bent roller but it appears its supposed to be bent.

Now when i try to start up, it goes through self check and clears but once i try to reverse or go forward i get code 7. which points me to POT1/POT2.

ANy help is appreciated.

Check for pinched wires by pods. Make sure you're getting signal to ends of wires
