Clark ESX15 Fault Code AL001

When key is turned in the on position fault code AL001 is displayed on the LED display. book says this code is parking brake switch open. Brake seams to be holding when electric foot pedal is released. Can someone help me with checking out the cause for this code.

It should be the pedal switch., I have not work on htese particular trucks so it may be a switch on the pedal or may be on the linkage. I would check and switches with a meter.

This a stand up electric truck or a sit down rider? I would check the operation of the switch to see if its faulty. Code 001 in info i have says seat switch fault, but cant be right if it's a stand up electric.

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
