Discussion:
Caterpillar F35 drive problem.

I have a older F35 (early 90's I think) that has a drive issue. I have been working on this forklift for a few years now and have seen a few drive issues but this one got me stumped. She has no drive on the right hand side. I have replaced both contractors, checked the transistors, the drive board, replaced the right hand drive motor. Still nothing. Any help would be great...

I found the problem... I had a wire on in the wrong place. I had S2 wire on the right hand DIR CTR on the shunt. Never noticed it till I went back to the wire digram.

I also have a Cat F30 that cuts out on an incline when i turn the key off and back on she will go again, but works fine on the level, any suggestions on this problem?

muchas gracias
Scott

raises the wheels, speed, turn the direction when you turn a wheel cap should go forward and backwards, if turning not see any changes, they may be improperly connected cables, also look at a possible short circuit in the motor ,

I use google tralate, my english is very poor.

No she has no errors and I ran the diag. and all checks out ok. One more symptom...When she is in Fw or Rev and the excelerator is pushed down only left wheel turns but when she goes into to M speed her right hand directional contactor starts to over heat and so does the right hand drive motor.

no error in display?. You check sensor steering. Under panel control.
In logic card there is a -run/diag botton. You out fuse principal, move button to diag and start key. You check acelerator, lever inversor, micro seat y them steeering. You turn steering, in display 0 to F is correct.
