thanks i will contact dealer it seems they may be aware of this problem. Thanks again.
you may have another bad one then
do you have another truck to test it in?
if not call the distributor back and tell them whats wrong, this may be a known issue and they may have to send you another one.
One thing i've learned about rebuilt components, its a 50/50 gamble on how it will perform, sometimes they work fine, other times they are not.
One of the biggest problems with electronic components that are rebuilt or refurbished is they do not load test them under normal conditions like they would be in out in the field, they have a computer program or a test station that does a static test for functionality so sometimes these kind of problems do not show up until installed on a truck.
A rebuilt from dealer have had a run of bad displays.
changed with a new display?
or one from another truck?
looks like you're going to be needing to hook up the diagnostic program and check settings and possibly reset the EEPROM as the HPK document suggested.
The display was just changed. Truck operates this code came up when installed. Code was never there before.
whats the serial number of this truck?
based on an assumption that this truck may be a 36v truck with AC controllers, there is a HPK document out on this alarm code, Alarm 58 on Mod1.
Two potential causes of this alarm are
The SICOS was just replaced
OR...
There is a problem with the pressure transducer or the related wiring
If it was triggered after a SICOS replacement then the SICOS EEPROM will have to be cleared using the diagnostic program.
If it is the latter problem then:
If this alarm occurs during run-time operation, Check the following:
The output voltage of the pressure transducer is 0.0 - 6.0 volts. The voltage values increase with pressure. The pressure range for the transducer is 0 - 3625 PSI.
The output voltage should be measured at Myhrio connection XA5C:1
Input voltage to the pressure transducer should be 14 volts when measured from XA5C6 (positive) and XA5C:3 (negative).
hope this helps
I believe you have the AC MicroCommand system. If so, check the cables and small wires to pump motor # 2 and its inverter.
The code means that either the sensor is reporting more than 4000 RPM OR that the motor isn't spinning when current is sent to it OR that the motor is spinning in reverse.
