Ain't nothing I can't fix but a broken heart and the break of day!
Allright Madman, you have gained my respect for posting back. Obviously you have done well with your employer and thats a good thing for any tech. The one thing I would still be willing to debate with you is Hyster being the best I.C. Perhaps that would be a good beginning for another post!!

"it's not rocket surgery"
I am but a small large man who does not have the title manager attached to his name. Not only do I not pilot the ship. I am not even allowed to blow the whistle.I help my company where I can because they have been good to me.I appreciate the way they treat customers and employees.I have met some of the executives with my company from time to time. They are just people like you and me.I have seen them portrayed as evil ,ignorant, arrogant , and blind in some posts on this forum from time to time and feel someone from the trenches should speak up and let it be known that you can work for a large company and feel like more than a number.I feel I work for good, hard working qualified folks who want to build a good name by being the best. It's not fairyland.I work hard.I get a days pay for a days work.I receive decent wages and benifits. Not rich/not impoverished. The people who are "UPSTAIRS" in my company have my support and I hope they continue to do well.As I have benifitted so have our customers. They depend on us.We do have good things to offer that I truely feel our competitors do not. Huzzah !!

chublil,
No doubt you are "Spot On"
The story told is like pages out of Joe Namath's book - "I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow Because I Better Looking Every Day." It was rumored Joe Willie lived in a house (and/or apartment/pad) of mirrors, too! lol

"Have An Exceptional Day!"
Yeah, I know what you mean. On the other hand, it can leave one needing a drink or 3 after work. I'm 3 days behind on paperwork and reports, I have 1 Raymond 7400 down and 2 Clark C25s down. I have a roll back showing up sometime today to pick up 2 old Clarks to send to auction and another new one being delivered this afternoon.....and my boss just dropped his truck keys on my desk so I can figure out why half the trailer circuit on his company truck doesn't work! Come on 2:30!

Johnr, another telling statement is the use of "Our Customers". Not "My customers". Me thinks me talking to management!!!
