Toyota 2FG25:
Brakes Toyota 2fg25

Hey There! Posted in the wrong area earlier, new to this forum.
I have an old Toyota 2fg25 runs great, real workhorse. Problems with the brakes.
I rebuilt the master cylinders, they pump fluid, able to manually bleed off pressure at the masters. Now to clean out lower lines and rebuild wheel cylinders. Removed lugs, removed wheels, hubs are solidly in place , removed nuts off axle/ bearing cover, nothing is coming apart.
Can anyone help me with the next step to get to my brakes and cylinders.

Thank you sir, that was actually part of the problem. This lift is a 1975 mdl and it's never had the drum/ axle assembly off.
The original sealant and paint around the 10 bolt cover made it most difficult to remove. But it was a success. Did have to back off on the adjustment star to finally get them off. Rebuilt the cylinders, cleaned up the shoes and hub. Small groove in the hub, not enough to worry with, shoes still have lots of pad. Re assembling it today.
Thank you for the response sir.

Sounds like the shoes have worn a groove in the drum. there should be an adjustment hole on the backing plate that allows you to turn the adjustment "star wheel". as you loosen it, shoes will move inward and drum will be able to come off
