Crown TSP6000:
BRAKE TOW MODE

Hi all.

Been working on this all day and got nowhere fast.
When trying to drive "Brake tow mode" is displayed. Also getting beeping sounds from the 123 unit. Have tested all the foot switches and brake switches. There are no error codes. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We have 10 Turret where I work and most of the solutions to problems are broken wires in the control cables where the pivot action is or any one of the cables running at top of mast down next to the chain adjustments where the springs attach to the cables. Our trucks leak alot around orings in main hyd block on top of load handler and main frame due to hyd fluid getting to hot.

Do it right the first time.
There is no code since the truck knows this as a normal function. Are the brakes in the released position? if not the the issue is most likely before the PU dist board. However there is a chance the switch went bad itself. can you swap the board? I have seen this several times and it is all ways something minor.

Back at the drive motor and brake is the brake plugged in to the distribution card and the switch turned on or to the wire harness?

The switch is in the up position. When i go into analyser and brake tow mode it says enabled and "hold down to disable" but prrssing any buttons does not do anything like it has crashed, i have to key off as cant go back.
I set the truck into tow mode and released the brake, then reset back to normal,
Forgive me, never seen this truck prior to yesterday. There has been previous at this site of rodents eating cables, saw plenty of droppings but everything looks intact, could be something unser the cab but currently cannot raise it up.

Sounds to me like the tow switch is in the on position? Or go into the system and take it out of tow mode.
