I have a 2018 Utilev UT25P. If I hold the brakes for >5 secs the unit shuts down the hydraulics. I have to move the gear shifter out of drive and back to neutral to regain use of the forks and to move the lift. Is this normal? If so, is it an alarm /safety feature I can have my dealer disable using the Hyster PC service tool? The lift is a series A285 - I understand you have to set that when you connect using the software. Thank you for any help with this lift!

Michael,
Not sure if you ever found the problem, just came across this thread. I am not able to find any settings in the lift that would affect the transmission. If you are still having this issue, check the park brake switch and make sure all connections are tight. Also, if you have two brake pedals, one would be the inching pedal while the other is for straight brakes. Try using just one or the other and see if the symptoms change with the pedal. If you did find the problem would like to know what it was. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your response. I was told my Utilev UT25P doesn't even have a code reader port. I didn't say I believe the dealer: they only sold 2 Utilev lifts.
I'm thinking there must be a data port but they don't know where it would be located. I know I have a 2.4L PSI motor and I think my lift is a 2018.
When it disables do you get a DTC code?
