BACKFIRE THROUGH INTAKE WOT WITH LOAD

this lift is backfiring through the intake at WOT under full engine load. No codes. It has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, throttle body and crank sensor. I also installed a new mixer due to grooves worn into the outside of the fuel inlet pipe. It seemed to be causing the plunger to stick.
This unit has 25K plus hours on it.
