Discussion:
Another one bites the dust.

Our wonderful economy has claimed another victim in Central Florida. The Nissan dealer has officially called it quits. Its a shame and unfortunately a sign of the times. The owners are good people and I wish them the best. They have been a part of the market in Central Florida for nearly 40 years.

Sam_C said "What forum did I stumble on? I thought this site was dedicated to forklifts? We can spend all day writing about health care, politics, and militaries, but this is not the forum for that. (Editorial: I'm not sure we'd get anywhere with these discussions anyway). While every industry is affected by health care/politics/military, let's try to limit the discussions to truly pertinent information!"..........I think Sam has a good point. Let's get back to Forklifts.....they are much more fun. We do like to have free flow discussions but as we have received a couple of complaints about getting off track I will just remove a few of the health care comments and hope that no one is offended.
Cheers, Admin

Sounds like they are pretty freakin out of business to me. Just got a letter that they cancelled their group health coverage so I loose my COBRA coverage. So not only have I been out of work for 8 months now I have no health insurance.

I hope all of the rest of the employees that just got let go got a good severance package because they arent going to have any insurance.

A little birdie told me that Komatsu in Long Beach got taken off life support, heard they are keeping the Ontario shop open though. We will have to wait and see who's next out here.
