Discussion:
Allis Chalmer/Lancer Boss What happened?

My customer has an Allis Chalmer S165 side loader. This machine was manufactured for Allis Chalmer by Lancer Boss. What ever happened to Lancer Boss?
I've read they were manufactured in England, bought out by Jungheinrich in 1994 and the plant was shut down in 2003. Is this correct?
The truck needs repairs and I can't seem to find parts (brakes). With all the experience and knowledge on forkliftaction, I'm hoping someone can shed some light for me. Thank you in advance for your time.

A good contact for you is Langer Material Handling in Pennsylvania, North of Pittsburgh - they had a relationship for Lancer Boss parts in N.America).
Talk to Kevin Langer tell him John Johnson sent you there ( I knew Kevin & his Dad, Bill Langer, well - they gave me a nickname that I won't post here). Once upon a time I was with Allis Chalmers & very familar with Lancer Boss.
