Mauritius Maritime Week 2025 Mauritius Maritime Week 2025 is a leading maritime transport event taking place in the Indian Ocean Region of Mauritius from Tuesday, 21 January to Thursday, 23 January, 2025, to highlight Mauritius's position as the 'Preferred Regional Maritime Gateway' for the Indian Ocean, officially endorsed by the Port Management Association of Eastern and Southern Africa (PMAESA) and the Association of Indian Ocean Islands Ports (APIOI).

The two-day Conference Programme will showcase presentations by 30 conference speakers who will delve into critical topics, challenges, solutions, and innovations within port operations, shipping, supply chain management, and logistics strategies. This gathering will draw the participation of over 300 senior government officials, industry leaders, academics, senior-level executives, CEOs, general managers, harbour masters, terminal operators, as well as prominent figures from the maritime industry including consultants, shippers, cargo owners, importers, exporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistic companies, technology providers, and service suppliers from countries across the Indian Ocean islands region.

When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
