The industry's most prestigious and fiercely competitive Awards are back, and the FLTA is calling for nominations from potential winners. As well as the four product categories in the Pick of the Year, there are a range of individual and team Awards in which that anybody can enter themselves or their companies. Products fall into in one of four categories: Ergonomics, Environment, Safety and Innovation.

Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
