A workman was airlifted to hospital after being crushed by a forklift at an industrial estate in Coin, Spain.
According to
EuroWeekly, the 56-year-old was seriously injured in the freak accident.
Medics from the Public Health Emergencies Company (EPES) airlifted the wounded man to Malaga hospital where he is being treated for multiple injuries.
An investigation will be carried out by the Labour Inspection and the Centre for the Prevention of Occupational Risks.
Meanwhile, an employee of the Walmart Distribution Center in Lewiston, Maine was taken to Central Maine Medical Center with unknown injuries after he was struck by a forklift in the centre's parking lot.
Local police say Walmart staff called for an ambulance after someone was struck by a forklift.
Because the incident happened on Walmart property and not on a public way, the Lewiston Police Department is not investigating.
