The Archies return in 2025

This year there will be 15 categories for the prestigious UK Material Handling Association’s (UKMHA) annual awards, the Archies, with winners to be named at a gala event in September.

The Archies is described by the UKMHA describes as its “showpiece awards” which celebrate excellence across the materials handling and intralogistics sector and in 2025.

This year the event will take place alongside the IMHX exhibition in Birmingham.

UKMHA says hosting the Archies during the IMHX trade show “also creates a vibrant evening centrepiece to the exhibition, offering a unique opportunity to honour the best in the industry and celebrate excellence”.

Rob Fisher, CEO of the UKMHA, says IMHX is the major sponsor for this year’s Archies and is an ideal headline sponsor.

“Both events serve a similar purpose,” Fisher adds. “To demonstrate that the material handling and intralogistics industry is regarded as one of the UK’s most crucial sectors and to support the industry with effective networking opportunities.”

The categories for this year’s Archies are:

  • Apprentice of the Year
  • Best New Product
  • Best Safety Initiative
  • Customer Service Excellence Award
  • Excellence in Automation
  • Intralogistics Project of the Year
  • Industry Leader Award
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Logistics Innovation Award
  • Operational Efficiency Award
  • Outstanding Service Provider
  • Rising Star Award
  • Sustainability Excellence Award
  • Technology Innovator Award
  • UKMHA Dealer Member of the Year

Nominations for the awards open in March.
