Due to the postponement of the Sydney WHS Show until September 2022, the 2021 AFITA Forklift Safety Week Seminars will now be held online.

Three webinars will be presented, starting on 21 September 2021.

These seminars are aimed at safety managers, operations managers, team leaders and anyone responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and industrial trucks in Australia.

The seminars will be presented using the Zoom conferencing platform. Each seminar will be approximately one hour in duration, consisting of 40-45 minutes of presentation and 15-20 minutes of questions.

Details of the sessions can be found here.

Separately, Safe Work Australia has started promoting October as National Safe Work Month, releasing new material for businesses to customise and use in their workplace to promote health and safety during October.

The material includes a newsletter template, a screensaver, bunting and a video-call background.

For more information and to access the National Safe Work Month graphics and resources, go to safeworkmonth.swa.gov.au.
