JLG offers safety option

JLG Industries is offering its Seatbelt Engagement and Operator Presence option for select JLG telehandlers as an aftermarket accessory. This new telehandler retrofit kit includes seatbelt engagement assurance, operator presence functionality, a high visibility orange seatbelt and illustrated instructions for installation. 

The Operator Presence feature restricts engine start and hydraulic functions when an operator is not present in the seat, while the seatbelt engagement feature produces a visible and audible alarm when an operator is seated and unbuckled.

The new kit can be field installed on JLG 742, 943, 1043, 1055 and 1255 telehandler models. 

Maxam adds performance tyre

Maxam Tire has unveiled the MS700 resilient solid tyre to its industrial series. 

Similar to the recently launched MS600 press-on solid, the MS700 will be developed in the newly opened, fully owned state-of-the-art solid tyre factory. 

The MS700 resilient uses new patent-pending compound technology, EcoPoint3TM, to address major challenges of rolling-, skid- and wear-resistance. 

Developed for maximum lifting capabilities, even for applications used in ports, the MS700 has one of the widest footprints in its class. Designed with a distinctive tread pattern and smooth centreline, this product yields an optimal combination of traction and tread life while also enhancing steering and preventing chunking in aggressive applications.

Noblelift expands lithium offerings

Noblelift has expanded its lithium iron phosphate (LiFe4OP) forklift range in the United States with the addition of the FE4P50Q, FE4P60Q and FE4P70Q four-wheel forklifts.

The forklifts are designed for indoor and outdoor applications. The mast system, front/rear axles and chassis are engineered to be tough, but with all the advantages of lithium iron. 

AC drive technology is used to achieve high performance with low operating and maintenance costs. 

Noblelift claims its lithium iron phosphate batteries are “the longest-lasting and safest lithium-ion battery available”. They are equipped with a battery management system (BMS), thermal management system, and an automotive-grade DC high-voltage control system. 

The FE4P50Q-60Q-70Q forklifts have a 10-year or 20,000-hour warranty on the lithium iron battery.

Electro Kinetic adds lithium option

Electro Kinetic Technologies has introduced new Pony Express 1061 Lithium and 1061-HD Lithium electric tuggers. 

These new products feature a wide range of capabilities, including lithium iron phosphate swappable battery packs. This technology allows for 24/7 operation, leading to more efficient project timelines and major cost savings. 

The battery pack weighs less than 34 lb. (15 kg) and delivers 40 Ah of charge. 

The new tuggers feature Bluetooth compatibility and a smartphone monitoring app.
